If these rumors of the bands tapped for the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest prove true, it should be a good show ti hit up this year. Unfortunately it has been confirmed that Dave Mustaine is losing his mind and Gigantour will never be the same. Metalunderground.com “Confirms” two Gigantour 2009 bands.

Avenged Sevenfold has canceled their remaining U.S. tour, citing problems with M. Shadows vocals. Fortunately for him and not us, they say they can continue the tour, starting in Japan in October. Shadows stated:

Avenged Sevenfold doing a “Cover” of Pantera’s Walk with some fan that got on stage. Pretty ballsy for someone to get onstage but this song has been covered by more bands that are unworthy in the past and this just adds to that growing list.

It looks as if the great people at this year’s Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany have thought things through and they don’t want anyone to miss out on all the really good bands due to Bathroom and concession visits. They have added Avenged Sevenfold to the line up so you have some time to go empty your bowels and bladders and get refills of your favorite German beers while you attend.

I’m always seeing people saying “this band sucks”, “that band sucks”, so on and so forth without any reason why they hate that band so much. Whether it’s metalcore, hardcore, nu metal whatever, I want to know what drives your hate for some of the bands on this list below. I want to better understand why people are so hateful to bands that I actually like and think are very talented. In return I give some reasons why I hate some of the bands I always bash on here. As you all know, when I find a band that just doesn’t do it for me I let you know. Well enter Avenged Sevenfold. While they have a cool name I just don’t get the sound. It’s as Izzy put about Dragon force, irritating. They want to be metal but they want to be Good Charlotte. I don’t like using those two words in the same line either. I don’t get it, What’s up?
