The Black Dahlia Murder Cracks the Top 50 in Billboard’s Top 200 Chart with “Deflorate”

Metal Blade Records is very proud to announce that death metal act The Black Dahlia Murder have cracked the top 50 in Billboard’s Top 200 chart coming in at #43 with the release of Deflorate. The album dropped on September 15th in North American and sold over 12,000 units in just its first week of release making it the band’s strongest first week to date.

Gwar’s new album, the excellent Lust in Space, has debuted at #96 on the Bilboard Top 200 chart, making this their highest rated release ever and bringing the Scumdogs one step closer to their goal of world domination.

So word has it that Billboard.com reports that Metallica have sold nearly or over a half million copies of Death Magnetic in the first few days. Does this prove that Metallica are the “Kings Of Metal” or that Death Magnetic is the “Best Album Of 200″?
