Taiwanese metallers CHTHONIC just kicked off their United States tour in support of their new album Mirror of Retribution. The tour features Satyricon, Bleeding Through and Toxic Holocaust and runs through October 27th in Montreal, Quebec.
Bassist Doris Yeh comments:
“After 2 years, we finally have our new album Mirror of Retribution out on Spinefarm Records, and this is our second North American tour. We’re very excited to see the fans here, and we just met the members of Bleeding Through, they’re very nice people, but including the members of the band and staff, there will be a total 15 people on [...]
Post from: Metal Martyr

“After 2 years, we finally have our new album Mirror of Retribution out on Spinefarm Records, and this is our second North American tour. We’re very excited to see the fans here, and we just met the members of Bleeding Through, they’re very nice people, but including the members of the band and staff, there will be a total 15 people on the bus!! Whew! That will be a huge family on the bus! This tour will be an awesome one, and the fans will kill themselves if they miss the show!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Kill themselves? Really, Doris?

CHTHONIC is touring to support their latest release, Mirror of Retribution, which is in stores now on Spinefarm Records. After years of controversy surrounding how to classify CHTHONIC, the band has clearly asserted themselves on Mirror of Retribution. There is no proper label for the type of dark, melodic, extremely heavy sound the band conveys on their latest release. This sound conveys the deep sadness and despair from old Eastern mythos as well as the unforgivable wrath from the history that Taiwan has experienced.

The tour is sponsored by Revolver Magazine and Zambooie and will be Bleeding Through first headlining tour in three years. If you click on the tour poster it will open in another window and you will see where it says “Visit Bleedingthrough.com for tour dates”. I saved you the trouble and posted the dates after the fold. What aggravates me about visiting some label and band official websites is that you have to click through 2 or 3 different index pages advertising either the bands new cd or a tour flyer. It’s not really that big of a deal but I feel it’s totally unnecessary for bands and labels to do that. You can also visit Zambooie.com and learn how you can enter for a chance to be a Roadie for a day for Bleeding Through.

Want to more more? Click here…but beware of the lambgoateers!

Either way, if you said yes to any of the previous questions than head on over to Metalsucks.net and find out how you can win this:

The winner will receive the entire Amon Amarth Metal Blade catalog on CD, including the three-disc DVD set Wrath of the Norsemen. Last day to enter is Monday, September 1st, and winners will be chosen the following week.
