Abigail Williams Headlining Winter Tour Dates

Abigail Williams have announced a good handful of winter U.S. headlining tour dates beginning at the end of this month. Abigail Williams is on tour in support In The Shadow Of A Thousand Suns, which saw it’s release in October of last year on Candlelight Records. On support is Rose Funeral, Burning The Masses and The Breathing Process.

Just out of curiosity and because I’m not a fan and have never cared what their name meant, I looked it up on Wikipedia. It’s interesting. Apparently Abigail Williams (The girl, not the band) is one of the reasons for the Salem Witch Trials. Anyway, tour dates are after the fold.

Today’s North American Releases 10/28/08

Holy crap, there is so much stuff coming out today. On a side note, before I get started the new (and last from the bad) Light This City Stormchaser will be coming on November 11th. I got a review copy the other day and I’m really diggin it. I’ll write up a review later in the week. AC/DC has sold over 3/4 of a million copies of their new album Black Ice in the U.S. alone and over 5 million copies worldwide. That’s some crazy numbers. It’s a cool rock album if you dig AC/DC. I’ll be transcribing the Opeth interview this evening and hopefully be working a few other interviews in the next coming weeks. Let’s get to it.

On CD

Beneath The Massacre: Dystopia on Prosthetic Records. (I just reviewed this yesterday. Some good stuff if you like a lot of melodic, treble string work in your death metal.)
Carcass: Reek Of Putrefaction CD/DVD. (As I said yesterday, if you’re a Carcass fan then you will want to add this to your collection.)
