If you’ve been following the new Lamb Of God releases from their upcoming Wrath album on the internet this far, then you have at least heard one of the three songs that have been kind of made public. You first probably heard and ultra-crappy version of the song Overhauled played live and downloaded the first free single, Contractor. I’ve said that this is one of my least favorite Lamb Of God album and I still stand to that, but my dislike for this album is gone. I hated this album the first time I heard it. Maybe it was because I was on more of an Ashes Of The Wake kick and this just doesn’t compare to that album. Maybe it’s the vocal difference that I don’t like as much as the newer albums. The new Lamb Of God album is already a highly anticipated album for the new year and the new song Contractor is a fast paced onslaught of old L.O.G. sound fused with new L.O.G. sound. It’s raw as they said it would be, but it’s really great. I think I listened to it about 10 times in a row the first night I downloaded it.
