God Forbid, Death Angel, Soilent Green and Light This City are the bands that may be coming your way on this bad ass tour. Arsis will be replacing Soilent Green from June 4th to the 11th. There were some pretty good videos on Heabanger’s Ball last week. I really like the new Death Angel video, and even though they play the shit outta that Demon Hunter video I think it’s starting to grow on me. I can honestly say that I am terribly tired of that Straight Line Stitch video and I’ve only seen it once, and I can’t really say I’m a Dillinger Escape Plan fan. San Francisco’s LIGHT THIS CITY has posted the band’s third in-studio video update exclusively at Revolver magazine’s website (http://www.revolvermag.com/). Focusing on vocal tracking, the footage features commentary from the band, snippets of music, and a brief look at Testament mainman Chuck Billy’s vocal contributions to LIGHT THIS CITY’s forthcoming record, the band’s fourth. Also contributing a guest vocal spot on the album is lead scream John from labelmates The Funeral Pyre.

This is not really news but Light This City will be joining God Forbid, Death Angel and Soilent Green on the upcoming In Thrash We Trust Tour. The dates are posted below. Light This City have been in the studio as of late recording for their third release on Prosthetic Records scheduled for a September ‘08 release. I’ll be checking out the show on May 9th. Should be fun with a line-up like that!

There is so many great bands releasing new albums this year it’s amazing. Just to name a few, you have young talented thrashers, Black Tide to release their Debut album Light From Above that I think will surprise a lot of people and blow them away. You have All That Remains that will be releasing their follow up to The Fall Of Ideals this summer, you have Children Of Bodom’s Blooddrunk and supposedly in September we will see the new Metallica record.

Death Angel’s long awaited new recording Killing Season Is out in stores and online today on Nuclear Blast Records. You had the chance to hear the entire CD streamed on their Myspace, now you can own it.
