Through the Eyes of the Dead Unveil Album Title, Tracklisting & Cover

South Carolina death metal act Through the Eyes of the Dead have announced the title of their forthcoming release on Prosthetic Records. The album, their third full length, will be titled Skepsis. The band has been recording at New York’s Gellar Cellar Studios. Alan Douches has been tapped to master the effort. The tracklisting is as follows:

2. Dementia
3. No Haven
4. Perpetual Defilement
5. Inherit Obscurity
6. The Manifest
7. Defaced Reality
8. Siphonaptera From Within
9. Insomnium
10. Skepsis

New Metal Releases For 3/24/09

There wasn’t really anything that came out last week that I thought was worth posting. This week is a bit different with a few significant albums. If you’re in to crappy music then you’ll be eager to run out and buy Papa Roach’s new album, but I would opt for any one of the others on this list before I made that mistake.

New Metal Releases Out Today 1/27/2009

The last week of January is here already and so far we’ve seen some good metal releases this far. I’m still lovin’ Cattle Decapitation’s The Harvest Floor as well as getting sued to the new Sepultura A-Lex. Kreator’s Hordes Of Chaos hasn’t quite got me hooked yet, but I’ve only listened to a fraction of it. I’ve been meaning to check out the new Satyricon, but I just haven’t found the time to look in to that. So here is what we have this week.

I didn’t bother watching the news this morning because everything is about 9/11 again. It was a terrible tragedy for the United States and they say “We Will Never Forget”. Even if we wanted to forget, we couldn’t. It’s embedded in our brains and every year they have to hold a ceremony and repeat the names of the people that died.
