If you didn’t already know, Cavalera Conspiracy is embarking on a North America tour titled “Infliktour“. Along for the ride is Dillinger Escape plan, Throwdown, Bury Your Dead, and Incite. Soulflyweb.com is holding a contest where you can win ameet and greet with Max and Igor Cavalera at a show near you. This is what you have to do….they make you work for it, damn-it!

To participate, contestants must print off flyers for the show that they wish to attend and use them to promote the old-fashioned way. Contestants should post the flyers all over their city – staple them in buildings and on poles, pass them out after shows and to your friends, tape them on top of other signs, and do the best job at getting the word out in general. Do whatever it takes, because the person who does the most creative/best job for each gig will be selected to win!

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN – Black Bubblegum

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN sees the worldwide premiere of their video for “Black Bubblegum”, the second video from their acclaimed new album Ire Works, today via MySpace. The video was shot in Los Angeles, CA with Ilan Sharone of Pneuamtic Pictures.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN are currently rounding out their Australian and New Zealand headlining tour. The band will then return to Europe in June for dates with MESHUGGAH and a number of festival appearances including Download, Gods Of Metal, Roskilde, and more.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN has also been added to a portion of this Summer’s Warped Tour followed by a U.S. tour with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, THROWDOWN, and BURY YOUR DEAD. THE DILLINGER ESCAPE will also be performing as part of the Monsters Of Rock Festival in Calgary along with OZZY OSBOURNE, JUDAS PRIEST, HATEBREED, VOIVOD, and more. Headbanger’s Ball Playlist For 4/26

There were some pretty good videos on Heabanger’s Ball last week. I really like the new Death Angel video, and even though they play the shit outta that Demon Hunter video I think it’s starting to grow on me. I can honestly say that I am terribly tired of that Straight Line Stitch video and I’ve only seen it once, and I can’t really say I’m a Dillinger Escape Plan fan. Anyway, there are still some killer videos coming on this weekend if you can stomach the commercials. I think if there wasn’t so many commercials I could probably stay awake through a full episode.
