Here is a cover of Twisted Sister’s Burn In Hell from their Stay Hungry album. The cover is by Black Metal artists Dimmu Borgir. This was actually the first Dimmu Borgir song I ever heard. I saw them in an interview about 4 years ago and ran a search and this song came up. It’s a pretty cool cover/rendition of a classic T.S. tune. Enjoy.

The mastermind of the Blackest Of The Black tour, Glenn Danzig was quoted as follows.

“It will be nice to get back to many of these cities that I have not been to in some time and do the live show for all the people who’ve followed my music all these years. I’m also very happy to have DIMMU BORGIR sharing the stage this time as they are one of my favorite bands and always wanted them on Blackest of The Black. Should be an incredible 20th anniversary tour.”

CHROME DIVISION, the Norwegian five-piece featuring DIMMU BORGIR frontman Shagrath (a.k.a. Stian Thoresen) on guitar, will release its second album, Booze, Broads And Beelzebub, later this year (exact release dates tba) via Nuclear Blast Records!
The follow-up to 2006’s Doomsday Rock ‘n’ Roll, Booze, Broads and Beelzebub was recorded at Studio Fredman in Sweden during January 2008 and contains a dozen or so tracks, including a cover of a classic ZZ TOP tune.
The material is described by the band as “a bit more varied than on ‘Doomsday Rock ‘n Roll’. A bit more metal, more fast stuff, but still the basics in filthy rock ‘n’ roll.”

Doomsday Rock ‘n’ Roll landed on the Norwegian album chart at position No. 31 back in 2006. The disc was recorded in Oslo, Norway, last winter and contains a musical direction described by the band as “stripped down groovy rock ‘n’ roll with a primitive attitude.”

CHROME DIVISION shot a video for the Doomsday Rock ‘n’ Roll track “Serial Killer” in Gothenburg, Sweden with director Patric Ullaeus (IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, SOILWORK). Behemoth Return To The States With Dimmu Borgir
Much like Into Eternity and Arch Enemy, BEHEMOTH will be saying goodbye to their most recent release with a stateside tour that rolled out the red carpet in Toronto last week. They’re direct support to Nuclear Blast’s Dimmu Borgir with Keep of Kalessin opening shows. This will be the third and last time BEHEMOTH will be touring in support of their final album on Century Media, The Apostasy.

Nergal (vocals, guitars) had a few words to preview the tour: “This is our third and final run in North America for this record. We toured like hell after Demigod and we’ve also been touring like crazy to support The Apostasy, but it feels like it’s time to slow down and live our lives a little bit. So it’s about time we stay home for awhile, get inspired and write another monstrous record. Anyway, this Dimmu Borgir tour is our top priority now, it seems like U.S. hasn’t witnessed a package this evil in a long time. Rest assured BEHEMOTH is a well oiled machine and ready to prove its might.”
Since releasing The Apostasy and touring as a featured act on last year’s groundbreaking (read: free) Ozzfest, BEHEMOTH has been on a roll. MTV2’s Headbangers Ball is airing a series of interviews in the coming weeks to cover this past fall’s Radio Rebellion Tour that the band was a part of along with Job For A Cowboy and Gojira. Tune in to Headbangers Ball the next few Saturdays to catch the feature before it ends.
