Holy shit, I don’t know how I missed this. This is a mix of bands that will keep things interesting on the tour. Ultimately I’ll go to see Kataklysm, but Eluveitie will be something different for me to see.

NEURAXIS interview featured at HardTimes.ca; THE THIN LINE BETWEEN in stores now

Upon release of the band’s latest album, ’The Thin Line Between,’ HardTimes.ca has posted interview footage of Montreal tech-death band NEURAXIS online here (http://www.hardtimes.ca/node/6536), featuring commentary from guitarist Rob Milley and new vocalist Alex Leblanc. The album saw release earlier this week through the band’s new home, Prosthetic Records, and an online e-card for for the album, with several songs streaming, is online here (http://www.prostheticrecords.com/ecards/neuraxis/). Featuring the studio debuts of new NEURAXIS members guitarist William Seghers and Leblanc, ‘The Thin Line Between’ was recorded with Anonymus guitarist Jef Fortin and features artwork from Dennis Sibejin of Damnengine Art (Job For A Cowboy, Chimaira) earlier this year in Canada, and is the follow-up to last year’s live disc, ‘Live Progression,’ which saw release through Galy Records.

NEURAXIS is taking part in the Summer Slaughter Canada Tour in August alongside Necrophagist, Dying Fetus, Beneath The Massacre and more, while Stateside dates are currently scheduled for this fall. More details on that will be available shortly. BENEATH THE MASSACRE confirmed as support to Necrophagist, Dying Fetus on Pillage The Village Tour

Montreal technical death metallers BENEATH THE MASSACRE have been confirmed for a run of dates on the Pillage The Village Tour as support to Necrophagist and Dying Fetus, along with Veil of Maya, including one appearance with legendary British gore-grinders Carcass. The band is currently completing work on its second full-length release, ‘Dystopia,’ the follow-up to the band’s Prosthetic debut, ‘Mechanics of Dysfunction.’ More in-studio footage will be available soon; in the meantime a clip featuring the recording of drum parts is available here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANNFAbeICtQ).
