Behemoth announces Evangelia Amerika tour presented by Revolver in association with Affliction and ESP Guitars!

The mighty Behemoth will once again be returning to North American soil in 2010! This is their first tour in the region since their massively successful summer with the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest. Following Mayhem, Behemoth’s Evangelion reached enormous heights, coming in at #56 on the Billboard Top 200, #61 on Canada’s Top 200, and three weeks straight at #1 in Poland before being certified gold in their home country.

The fans have spoken and Behemoth’s return to North America will be a triumphant conquest presented by Revolver Magazine in association with Affliction, ESP Guitars and with on-line media partners KillerTours.com and VampireFreaks.com. Supporting Behemoth on the Evangelia Amerika tour will be Septic Flesh from Greece and Shining from Sweden.

BEHEMOTH’s “Evangelion” debuts in the Billboard Charts!
Los Angeles, CA – August 19, 2009 – Metal Blade Records is proud to announce that leaders of blackened death metal, BEHEMOTH, have landed on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart at #56 with just under 8,500 copies of Evangelion being sold in its first week. Evangelion, BEHEMOTH’s ninth full-length studio album, also took the #5 position on the Billboard Hard Music Albums Chart and #6 on the Billboard Independent Albums Chart. BEHEMOTH also landed on the Canadian charts with the release of Evangelion coming in at #61 on the Top 200 Current Albums Chart, #6 on the Independent Chart, and #10 on the Hard Music Chart. The success of Evangelion doesn’t stop here though. BEHEMOTH has been devastating charts worldwide in its first week in addition to landing some of metals most coveted Magazine covers, including Decibel Magazine (out now), Metal Hammer Magazine (out now), Zero Tolerance (out now), and Metalized (out now).

Behemoth Release Track List For Evangelion

Behemoth is set to release their 9th full length studio album titled Evangelion on August 11th through Nuclear Blast Records in Europe and Metal Blade in North America. The 11 song album will also be available in a digi-pack which includes a DVD of behind the scenes footage and artwork. The album is currently being mixed at Musicbox Miloco Studios in London by Colin Richardson. Oh yeah, I almost forgot; Hail Satan, bitches!
