Thats what I said the first time I heard it. Not something thats big in the states yet but if you want know more about this, er…genre then Check out Metal Music Blog. Headbanger (From Finland himself) mentions Turisas, a Finnish band that I thought was absolutely crazy when I first heard their sound. I don’t know what to make of this band. Folk metal? I suppose you could call it innovative or unique. I don’t want to be ignorant and bash them but I just can’t get into this…It’s kinda cool in it’s own way. I suppose you would have to be a fan of folk music too. It’s like Braveheart meets Motorgrater kinda, sorta, maybe. But the more I listen to this song the more I want to hear. Check out the live video
