July 15, 2008 by Scott
Braves Words & Bloody Knuckles announced that Microsoft and Metallica are teaming up to bring the fans the entire album of Death Magnetic to be downloadable to Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero: World Tour on XBox on the date of release…but only for the XBox 360.
Whether they got a fat chunk of change for it or not, this is a cool thing for the band to do. I sincerely hope that it’s all worth the downlaod and that the album rocks. We’ll see. Here is a bit of the anouncement from Metallica’s official page and you can read even …read more

Guitar Hero III brings in over 100 Mil. It’s First Week!
Here is an excerpt from Blabbermouth.net about the success of Guitar Hero 3. You have your usual people that bitch and complain about “What’s the big deal about this game, just pick up a real guitar?!” and stuff like that. It’s a game. It’s meant to be fun. It’s not like playing a real guitar but it’s still fun. My 9 year old son has gotten into so many older songs now because of Guitar Hero and is constantly singing Twisted Sister’s “I Wanna Rock!” and keeps telling me to play Dio’s Holy Diver whenever we go somewhere in the …read more
Guitar Hero 3 Review
October 30, 2007 by Scott
Well, it came out Sunday but I was extremely busy and I didn’t make it to Gamestop in time to pick it up. So yesterday I picked it up and let me tell you…Guitar Hero 3 rocks! With all new songs and battle mode it makes things interesting.
What I don’t like about it is it’s slow load and save time. I have a PS2 so I can’t say its the same for every platform. I unlocked all the songs for quickplay by using a cheat code and prepare yourself for a challenge. Even on medium, some of the songs and …read more

Family Values
September 13, 2007 by Scott
These days its sometimes difficult to spend some good quality time with the family. My Solution? Guitar Hero! I mention awhile back that I just recently got into Guitar Hero. All three games and three guitars later and I find that it’s one of the best ways to spend some time with the family. My wife is improving greatly from the first time she picked up the guitar and my son loves it but is yet to really want to challenge himself with the medium level, but he does well and even gets into it a bit too much and …read more
MetalMartyr update
August 14, 2007 by Scott
Well I’ve been extremely lazy the last two days and not bloggin too much. Kinda giving my brain a break…or have I?
I’m not a fan of hip hop but I am a fan of comedy, especially ill humor, so naturally I made it a point to watch the Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav. Let me tell you it was hilarious! All the guest comedians did a great job and even Snoop Dogg said some funny sh*t.
