As we get closer to the release date of Guitar Hero: Metallica more trailers are going to pop up and more press will be released. Honestly I can’t find time to play any XBox 360 or games that really interest me as of late. I’m sure this will be fun to play. Hopefully there will be more James singing and not so much “Jaymz” singing, but I doubt it. I wonder how much Warner Music is making off of this game? Here is a new trailer feature two of the special guest character, Lemmy and King Diamond.

How cool is that? Guitar Hero: Metallica will feature Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister as an unlockable character. Spinner.com reports:
Gamers will have the option to either watch Lemmy’s in-game likeness as he hammers away at his bass and sings in his signature, whiskey-drenched vocals, or they can step into his cowboy boots and learn to play Motörhead’s 2008 re-recorded version of their biggest hit, the anthemic ‘Ace of Spades.’
That’s pretty cool. I mean, there are plenty of people I would like to see on Guitar Hero: Metallica that I never will, so this is cool. I wonder if you can only use [...]
Post from: Metal Martyr

I’m tired of posting Metallica news almost as much as most of you are tired of seeing it. The fact is that Metallica still has a Load of fans (pun intended) that want to read anything and everything Metallica. So in relation to those people that like to read about Metallica without me being a cynical bastard, I give you two quick bits of Metallica news.

Guitar Hero: Metallica may be in the works. Gamespot.com reported this:

“In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms,” the company said in its report. Activision’s fiscal year ends on March 31, 2009, which means that the game will likely follow the holiday release of Guitar Hero: World Tour (nee Guitar Hero 4).

I think that would be pretty cool…for sales. How about a Guitar Hero Slayer?

If you wanted a Master Of Puppets reissue on heavy vinyl then your going to have to wait another month. Blabbermouth.net reports:

METALLICA’s classic 1986 album “Master of Puppets” will be reissued on heavy-duty vinyl on July 15 – one month later than the previously announced June 17 release date.

Does anyone actually listen to these types of re-issues when they get them or are they more or less a collectors piece like they are to me. I have a few pieces of vinyl. It looks nice in my collection but I doubt if I have it on cd that I would ever listen to it on vinyl.
