Becoming A Guitar Virtuoso

I’ve been “Playing” guitar since I was about 15 or 16. Self taught all the way, woohoo! For the longest time I would try to read Tablature and learn some of my favorite Metal songs but I was never really good at it, in fact I’m still not.

Learn To Play Guitar Hero Songs…For Real

I just bought my son and Xbox 360 and Guitar Hero World Tour the other day for Christmas. It sits hidden in the closet while I try to restrain myself from pulling it out, putting it together and giving it a try while he’s at school. The best thing about the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games besides the fact that they are a blast to play is that they get kids interested in music and bands of the past and present. Sometimes it even gets them interested in learning a real instrument.
