GWAR Invades Billboard Top 200

Gwar’s new album, the excellent Lust in Space, has debuted at #96 on the Bilboard Top 200 chart, making this their highest rated release ever and bringing the Scumdogs one step closer to their goal of world domination.

Vocalist Oderus Urungus had this to say about GWAR’s triumphant release:
“We are appalled, shocked, outraged, and completely ecstatic over GWAR’s latest master-work, “LUST IN SPACE” debuting at # 96 in the Billboard Charts…in keeping with my finally confirmed uber-rock star status, I have already vomited on Lindsay Lohan’s puss, visited the the Obama girls, and sodomized Carrot-Top. And there was much rejoicing. But …read more

GWAR’s Oderus Urungus on Fox News

One of the fathers of the entire human race, the 43 billion year old Oderus Urungus, recently appeared for the fifth time on the Fox News show Red Eye. Urungus was kind enough to explain a few very important facts about space to the human hosts, before reminding us all that the invasion of Earth is still expected, and the only way to save ourselves is to buy GWAR’s newest album Lust in Space. The album will be released August 18, and I suggest everyone grab a copy. Not only because this is one of the greatest GWAR albums ever, …read more

A Little Gwar On This Fine Saturday Morning

A Little Gwar On This Fine Saturday Morning

Gwar never get nearly enough credit for actually being good musicians despite their years of experience. They’re always written off because of the songs they write and the costumes, but underneath all of that they have always really been talented. This is an honorable cover of Alice Cooper’s classic School’s Out.

Video Blast Zone 10/3 Going Olde School

Ah, to be a teenager again and not have a care in the world. Except maybe what your parents are going to do to you for getting suspended for smoking on school grounds. Or maybe where you’re going to get gas money to get back and fourth from work after school for the rest of the week, after you blew your paycheck on CD’s/Tapes and cigarettes/pot or whatever. Back when a cd didn’t cost much more than 15 bucks, cigarettes were about $1.70 a pack, gas wasn’t much more than a buck a gallon and a dime-bag was a decent …read more

Pointing Fingers Pt. 2 | The Devils Rejects

I have a few words for all the Metal heads that take themselves and the music we love too seriously and make us all look bad. GROW UP YOU STUPID, DISRESPECTFUL, IGNORANT LITTLE S**TS! It’s quite obvious that 98% of heavy metal music and Christianity don’t mix. Yes some Christian groups are annoying and when they come knocking on your door or approach you trying to spread the good word you just want to tell them to STFU. But to take the music so seriously that you would do so much as to burn down a church just to make …read more

You’ve Got To Be Kidding Me!

You’ve Got To Be Kidding Me!

I hate this guy. Ville Valo judging Metal Hammer’s Get In The Ring with Oderus Urungus from Gwar…WTF? You may as well have Lemmy judge a rap Battle. Ville is not metal, his band is not metal, hell, his belt buckle probably isn’t even metal. Come on Metal Hammer, you can find better hosts than Ville. I think I’m going to go throw up now.
