Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to sit here and focus on one band. This was just the beginning of my discovery of bands like Nothingface and Mudvayne. Brilliance is creativity. Nu Metal bands are just bands that were influenced by their favorite bands and brought their own breed to the pony show. (Sub)Genres: Segregating, Separating, and Desecrating.
Why is it that every time a band comes out and it sounds slightly different, that suddenly we have to put a label on it and start a sub-genre. Aren’t there enough genres out there. We have been doing it since the beginning of music but started getting stupid about it in the 80’s . There was already Rock, and then Hard Rock and Punk Rock then Heavy Metal.
