As usual I’m back peddling on a band that I recently came to be a fan of in the past few months. Spinefarm and Fontana International re-released 4 older Children Of Bodom CDs this past week and I picked up Hatebreeder. Next I will probably pick up Follow The Reaper. I can see where people say they like older C.O.B. better. I like Hatebreeder. It seems a bit heavier than the new albums and one thing I can say about Children Of Bodom is that they are pretty consistent with their music. They are one of those bands that if you had not heard all their material you could still easily identify them as soon as you hear a new song that you haven’t heard before. So far this is what I have and in order of how much I like them. With a few more listens, Hatebreeder may be at the top very soon.

Fontana International and Spinefarm records re-released 4 Children Of Bodom CDs today with bonus tracks and material previously unavailable in the U.S.

Something Wild features 2 bonus tracks, a video clip, winamp skins, wallpapers and screensavers.

Hatebreeder Features two bonus tracks to include an Iron Maiden “Aces High” cover and a bonus video.

Tokyo Warhearts Live C.O.B.

Follow The Reaper Also features bonus tracks but I couldn’t find any more information at the time.
