It’s not uncommon for some old ass artists like Ozzy, who’s brain has been pickled with cocktails of alcohol and drugs, to forget a few words to their own songs. But this just seems strange that Dave Mustaine would forget words to his own song when performing it on about 8 years after it was written. Maybe you’ve seen this video. There is a rumor floating around teh net that says Metallica’s release date for their new album, Death Magnetic may be September 16th. Here is what Blabbermouth reported:
“According to Finland’s Record Shop X, the Finnish release date for the new METALLICA album, “Death Magnetic”, is Wednesday, September 17. Although no official release date has yet been announced, it is likely that the CD will be issued in the U.S. on September 16, with most of continental Europe receiving the album on Monday, September 15 (except Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where fans will presumably be able to purchase the CD on …read more

Withered’s Folie Circulaire is another step in the extreme metal genre for the band. The follow up to 2005’s Memento Mori is a very busy recording. The mix between Mike Thompson and Chris Freeman’s vocals compliment each other as do their guitars. A very fast paced, slightly over-distorted recording, Withered’s latest release will have the mosh pits churning like an out of control blender one minute and bring it to a head banging, fist raising halt the next.

French metal act, Gojira will follow up their last album From Mars To Sirius with The Way Of All Flesh. Singer Joe Duplantier told Revolver Magazine it’s “more intense, more brutal, and more melodic at the same time.” than From Mars To Serius. It will be release on October 14 in the U.S. through Prosthetic Records.
The album was tracked and produced in Los Angeles by Logan Mader.
