Win A Meet And Greet With Cavalera Conspiracy

If you didn’t already know, Cavalera Conspiracy is embarking on a North America tour titled “Infliktour“. Along for the ride is Dillinger Escape plan, Throwdown, Bury Your Dead, and Incite. Soulflyweb.com is holding a contest where you can win ameet and greet with Max and Igor Cavalera at a show near you. This is what you have to do….they make you work for it, damn-it!

To participate, contestants must print off flyers for the show that they wish to attend and use them to promote the old-fashioned way. Contestants should post the flyers all over their city – staple them in buildings and on poles, pass them out after shows and to your friends, tape them on top of other signs, and do the best job at getting the word out in general. Do whatever it takes, because the person who does the most creative/best job for each gig will be selected to win!

Cavalera Conspiracy Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow!

Beginning tomorrow at noon, tickets for Cavalera Conspiracy’s inflikTOUR of North America will be available for presale before the tickets go on sale to the general public. As we indicated in a previous post here, the select shows for this tour may be the band’s ONLY performances in the North America in support of Inflikted.

Also, more dates for the midwest and west coast have been added to the tour. Below are current dates.

Sepultura Reunion Hopes Looking Up?

If you’re a Sepultura fan you’d be lying if you said that you don’t want to see a reunion anytime soon. The “Classic” line-up of Max, Igor, Andreas, and Paulo was the best to date and we all know it. While Derek Green stepped in on vocals and did a rather good job considering who’s shoes he had to fill, it was never quite the same Sepultura, as Iron Maiden was not the same without Bruce.

When Soulfly Debuted I really liked it. These days I can’t stand it. I don’t know why either. I bought Against only because I was hopeful for the new Sepultura and I didn’t hate it but it’s not a memorable album like Arise or Chaos A.D…In fact now that I think about it I can’t remember one song off of that record. Looks like I gave up back then. To date I have yet to buy another Sepultura or Soulfly cd since the two I mentioned a second ago.

In a recent interview Max stated that the time he has spent with Igor has been great and it just feels right. He also said that he handled the split with Sepultura the wrong way and he realizes that now that he is older. What I can say is this. Max, you’ve taken the first step by getting back and making music with your brother. It’s time to take the next step and contact Andreas and Paulo. We don’t necessarily want a new record right away, just a kick ass reunion tour…and then a new record. C’mon, Max. Swallow your pride, wash your hair and give the fans what they Really want.

Roadrunnerrecords.com has posted the Cavalera Conspiracy’s first single from the upcoming release Inflikted. Ok, Max and Igor…quit screwing around and call Paulo Pinto and Andreas Kisser up.

Click here to go to roadrunnerrecords.com music page and check out Sanctuary, the new track from the Cavalera Conspiracy’s Inflikted. While your there check out the other stuff to. My suggestion: listen to it on Quicktime or WMP before waisting your time downloading anything and taking up valuable hard drive space you could save for the really good stuff.
