Max Cavalera’s Soulfly will be touring the United Kingdom with 11 dates scheduled so far in February 2009. Soulfly will be touring in support of their latest album, Conquer. Conquer in my opinion is Soulfly’s best album to date, with a more thrash feel to it than previous albums. If you liked the Cavalera Conspiracy but have not like past Soulfly albums you may actually like Conquer as it has a closer sound to Inflikted. Phoenix Arizona’s Incite will tour as support. Incite is fronted by Richie Cavalera, the step-son of Max Cavalera. Tour dates are below.

As we indicated in a previous post here, the select shows for this tour may be the band’s ONLY performances in the North America in support of Inflikted.

Cavalera Conspiracy have added a few North American tour dates to their schedule. Not a whole lot of them. Keep in mind that this is a side project and other band members still have commitments to their original bands. So if your city is not on the list, please don’t cry about it. They are not coming anywhere near me either and I would love to see them. They are also saying that more dates may be added soon…so hold on to hope. If you have not already check out Inflikted I would highly suggest it.

Throughout the history of Sepultura the line-ups have changed. From their very beginning when it started out as Max and Igor and people came and went. Max said in a recent revolver interview back then “That was Sepultura” and went on to say that “Andreas and Paulo Jr. came later.” Perhaps I’m misinterpreting his words but he sounded pretty ungrateful for those two. To me Max, Igor, Paulo Jr. and Andreas was Sepultura. That was the most solid line-up.

The Cavalera Conspiracy’s Inflikted out March 25th on RoadRunner Records. You know I haven’t spent much time talking about the Cavalera Conspiracy and when I have I’ve either been telling Max to wash his hair or get a Sepultura reunion going. If you have not heard anything off of Inflikted you can download Sanctuary and/or watch the video below. So far I’m actually impressed. It’s not Soulfly and it’s not Sepultura, but it seems pretty cool and Marc Rizzo is an amazing guitar player.

Roadrunnerrecords.com has posted the Cavalera Conspiracy’s first single from the upcoming release Inflikted. Ok, Max and Igor…quit screwing around and call Paulo Pinto and Andreas Kisser up.
