So Josh Rand of Stone Sour made the following statement about the future of Stone Sour:
“Our tentative plan is to start rehearsals for the new album in the fall of 2009, hit the studio at the beginning of 2010, and release around summer time. I have to say that all of us are really thrilled about having Roy [Mayorga, drums] in the writing process this time around. I’ve heard song ideas from everyone, and I have a feeling this could be the most diverse STONE SOUR album yet!”

We got back kind of late last night and the family still has a long day while we make a vacation of this. Any updates you saw yesterday was postdated from Thursday. My son and I did a lot of walking and I got some great pictures, videos and a cool prize for the next giveaway from yesterday’s events. Let me just say that it was an awesome time.
