Bloodstock Open Air Questions and Answers
July 24, 2009 by Eric J
Ok, it’s only one question, but lots of different answers. Thrash Hits TV asks pretty much everyone at Bloodstock a question that has been burning through our collective minds for years… “What is the most metal meat?” I think Napalm Death answers it best at the end.

Kataklysm Frontman’s Side Project Ex Deo Post New Demo Online
January 12, 2009 by Scott
Maurizio Iacono, front-man of Kataklysm has a side project called Ex Deo. They are recording an album called Romulus that will be released later this year on Nuclear Blast Records. Maurizio wants to make it very clear that Ex Deo is not a lateral move from Kataklysm and that he’s not leaving the band and they are working on a new album for 2010. Some members of Kataklysm are also involved in the Ex Deo Process.
Ex Deo is metal inspired by The Roman Empire and can be described as Kataklysmic Pagan/Viking Metal. You can check out the demo “Cry …read more
Kataklysm: In The Arms Of Devastation
December 22, 2008 by Scott
Friday I took a trip to FYE to see what the big deal was about Protest The Hero. While I couldn’t get in to it through sampling it at the store, I’m going to give it another shot later. I couldn’t find anything that really roused my interest as far as newer cds goes, so I stuck to what I know.
I picked up Kataklysm’s 2006 release, In The Arms Of Devastation. I figured I really liked Prevail so I might as well start working on buying older Kataklysm cd’s and see what I like. In The Arms Of Devastation …read more
Top 10 Metal Albums Of 2008
December 8, 2008 by Scott
2008 has been a great year for metal. Here is my Top 10 Favorite Metal Albums of 2008 (that I own). I know that there are probably a lot of other amazing metal albums that came out this year but I can only go off of what I own and what I’ve heard. So more or less these are my favorites and not some definitive collection of what I think is the best. How many people can honestly say that they have heard and thoroughly listened to every new metal album that came out this year? Anyway, let’s get …read more

IGN.Com, a video game site recently published a post on the 10 Best Death Metal Singers and I must say that it is a hell of a list. I couldn’t agree more with it. Scrap Metal Report 9/11
I didn’t bother watching the news this morning because everything is about 9/11 again. It was a terrible tragedy for the United States and they say “We Will Never Forget”. Even if we wanted to forget, we couldn’t. It’s embedded in our brains and every year they have to hold a ceremony and repeat the names of the people that died. I’m not trying to be a negative, cynical bastard about this, but is a ceremony necessary every year? Can we not take other measures to remember and perhaps start moving forward? Like I said, I’m not being …read more
