<blockquote><p>b5media&#8217;s <strong>Music Channel</strong> offers 38 tracks to get you through your Monday. </p>
<p>The selection is vast.  The tracks are ones we feel you should hear.  Discover music and let us know what we should be checking out. <br />
Have fun and welcome to a great selection of music. </p></blockquote>
<p><span id="more-1743"></span></p>
<blockquote><p>Every Monday should start off with some quality Jazz.  <a href="http://www.jazzandblueslounge.com/two-jazz-songs-you-need-to-add-to-your-ipod-right-now/"><strong>The Jazz and Blues Lounge</strong></a> is our online authority.  Keeping with the jazz era <a href="http://www.thegoodmusician.com/miles-and-ella-icons-of-music/"><strong>The Good Musician</strong></a> gives us two of the greatest of all time.  Finish your third cup of coffee and bring it upbeat a bit with either Pop and listen to some new Nelly w Fergie at <a href="http://www.popmusicscene.com/flyleaf-and-nelly-ft-fergie-added-on-my-playlist/"><strong>Pop Music Scene</strong></a> or download two free metal tracks at <strong><a href="http://www.metalmartyr.com/2-metal-tunes-for-your-ipod-free-to-download/">Metal Martyr</a></strong>. </p>
<p>From the world of 4 global music mecca&#8217;s&#8230;.Jet-set half way around the globe for two must have Aussie tracks at <strong><a href="http://www.ozmusicscene.com/two-must-have-aussie-tracks/">Oz Music Scene</a></strong>.  Heading back to the new music mecca of America, <strong><a href="http://www.bigapplemusicscene.com/two-songs-to-add-to-your-ipod/">Big Apple Music Scene</a></strong> gives you two tracks that should be on every <em>iPod</em>.  Down to one of America&#8217;s strongest indie cultures, <strong><a href="http://www.austinsoundcheck.com/austin-on-your-ipod-two-songs-to-add-today/">Austin Sound Check</a></strong> gives us two tracks that you need to hear.  Toronto is a bustling and exciting music scene and <a href="http://www.torontounplugged.com/ipod-must-haves-have-a-listen-happy-monday/"><strong>Toronto Unplugged</strong></a> gives us two solid, soild tunes. </p>
<p>Our online music resource <strong><a href="http://www.ourdigitalmusic.com/2-songs-to-add-to-your-ipod-today/">Our Digital Music </a></strong>lets us in on two key tracks to download.  Anything with Dylan is good, but this <strong><a href="http://www.therockdose.com/a-double-dose-of-dylan/">Rock Dose</a></strong> is the best.  <a href="http://www.christianmusicfan.com/2008/05/05/2-must-add-songs-to-your-playlist/"><strong>Christian Music Fan</strong></a> outlines two tracks within the Christian genre.  <strong><a href="http://earsucker.com/2008/05/04/two-songs-youre-going-to-want-to-add-to-your-music-player/">Ear Sucker </a></strong>always features a wide variety of quality music and these tracks are no different.   </p>
<p>After you coffee, enjoy a martini and crank up some good ol&#8217; fashioned crooning by blasting these two gems from <strong><a href="http://croonerculture.com/two-of-60-songs-to-add-to-your-ipod-today/">Crooner Culture</a></strong>.  No day is complete without some top notch classic rock &#8211; head to the <strong><a href="http://www.therockrelic.com/two-of-fore-4-yer-ipod/">Rock Relic </a></strong>for your rock fix.  After the magical mystery ride in rock, float over to <strong><a href="http://www.newagevibe.com/my-favorites-boiled-down-to-two/">New Age Vibe</a></strong> for two favorites.  New Age to <strong><a href="http://industrialaddiction.com/double-trouble-songs-that-are-a-must-add-to-your-ipod-or-mp3-player">Industrial Addiction</a></strong> for great cuts from that growing genre.   <strong><a href="http://www.sheplaysmusic.com/whats-on-your-ipod-a-couple-of-recommendations-from-she-plays-music/?preview=true">She Plays Music</a></strong> always has the inside track of women in music &#8211; here are <a href="http://www.sheplaysmusic.com/whats-on-your-ipod-a-couple-of-recommendations-from-she-plays-music/?preview=true">two solid recommendations</a>.  Punk Rock is alive and well!  <strong><a href="http://www.newsinpunk.com/songs-you-must-put-on-your-ipod-today/">News in Punk </a></strong>features two outstanding punk tracks.  Add a little Hippie to your day with these diamonds at <strong><a href="http://hippiesounds.com/two-hippie-songs-to-add-to-your-ipod-today/">Hippie Sounds</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Cheers.</p></blockquote>

<strong><u><font size="2">Top Ten Songs</font></u></strong></p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Progenies Of The Great Apocalypse</strong> &#8211; Dimmu Borgir (I love the symphonic aspects of this band) <center><embed src="http://www.songza.com/e/listen" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="zName=Dimmu%20Borgir%20-%20Progenies%20Of%20the%20Great%20Apocalypse&amp;zId=s3r1-25a0227a328c120d5eae4ee094e70d5061c954f5&amp;zAutostart=false&amp;zType=mp3" height="114" width="425"></embed> </center></li>
<li><strong>One By One</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">Immortal</font></strong> (One of my new favorite Black Metal Bands)</li>
<li><strong>Angel&#8217;s Don&#8217;t Kill</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">Children Of Bodom</font></strong> (My favorite from Hatecrew Deathroll)</li>

<li><strong>The Eagle</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">Light This City</font></strong> (One of many great songs on Facing The Thousand)</li>
<li><strong>Dethharmonic</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">Dethklok</font></strong> (It&#8217;s Dethklok, nothing more to say) <center><embed src="http://www.songza.com/e/listen" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="zName=Dethklok%20-%20Dethharmonic&amp;zId=j0k8-675F4554525A64&amp;zAutostart=false&amp;zType=mp3" height="114" width="425"></embed> </center></li>

<li><strong>Skulls</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">The Misfits</font></strong> (I&#8217;m always liking older Misfits tunes) <center><embed src="http://www.songza.com/e/listen" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="zName=The%20Misfits%20-%20Skulls&amp;zId=s3r1-cb1282fdb0e1b106d6501bd644eac12b5c857c7f&amp;zAutostart=false&amp;zType=mp3" height="114" width="425"></embed> </center></li>

<p><a href="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecedethalbumhp2-2.jpg"><strong><img src="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecedethalbumhp2-thumb.jpg" style="border-width: 0px" alt="dethalbumhp2" align="left" border="0" height="60" width="60" /></strong></a><strong> Dethklok</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">The Dethalbum</font></strong> I wasn&#8217;t sure what to think when I heard about this show, but when you hear the music you instantly fall in love with it all.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecethis-darkened-heart-2.jpg"><strong><img src="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecethis-darkened-heart-thumb.jpg" style="border-width: 0px" alt="this darkened heart" align="left" border="0" height="60" width="60" /></strong></a><strong> All That Remains</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">This Darkened Heart</font></strong> I can not say enough good things about this band and honestly a lot of you are probably tired of hearing me talk about them&#8230;be prepared for more.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecebest-of-test-2.jpg"><img src="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecebest-of-test-thumb.jpg" style="border: 0px none " alt="best of test" align="left" border="0" height="61" width="61" /></a> <strong>Testament</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">The Best of Testament</font></strong> When I picked up this one I was just ashamed that I went this long without listening to Testament. Sometimes It&#8217;s amazing how you miss a band like this for so long.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecegow-2.jpg"><img src="http://www.metalmartyr.com/files/2008/03/windowslivewritermetalmartyrpersonaltopten-cecegow-thumb.jpg" style="border-width: 0px" alt="GOW" align="left" border="0" height="60" width="60" /></a> <strong>grief of WAR</strong> &#8211; <strong><font color="#ff0000">A Mounting Crisis</font></strong> Another new overseas favorite. Japan&#8217;s grief of WAR are phenoms at bringing back the old school thrash sound. Nothing polished and painted pretty here. Just thrashing.</p>

The vocals are incomprehensible but the music rips!</p>

Jazz and metal would normally not mix well&#8230;except when done by Yakuza!</font></p>
