There is a rumor floating around teh net that says Metallica’s release date for their new album, Death Magnetic may be September 16th. Here is what Blabbermouth reported:
“According to Finland’s Record Shop X, the Finnish release date for the new METALLICA album, “Death Magnetic”, is Wednesday, September 17. Withered’s Folie Circulaire is another step in the extreme metal genre for the band. The follow up to 2005’s Memento Mori is a very busy recording. The mix between Mike Thompson and Chris Freeman’s vocals compliment each other as do their guitars. A very fast paced, slightly over-distorted recording, Withered’s latest release will have the mosh pits churning like an out of control blender one minute and bring it to a head banging, fist raising halt the next.

French metal act, Gojira will follow up their last album From Mars To Sirius with The Way Of All Flesh. Singer Joe Duplantier told Revolver Magazine it’s “more intense, more brutal, and more melodic at the same time.” than From Mars To Serius. It will be release on October 14 in the U.S. through Prosthetic Records.
The album was tracked and produced in Los Angeles by Logan Mader.
