Heavy metal juggernauts Dethklok have exploded onto the Billboard Top 200 again with the release of “Dethalbum II ”, selling nearly 45,000 copies in its first week!! The ferocious new record from the stars of the Adult Swim series Metalocalypse debuted at #15 on the Billboard Top 200 six spots higher then their debut album “Dethalbum” back in 2007.

Antimusic.com reported that the long awaited Dethklok action figures are due out July 30th. You can preorder them for a hefty $95 for the five piece set at the link at the bottom. Here is part of the original report from Antimusic.com:

I got my birthday present  last Friday. A bit early but who’s counting days. I debated buying the iPod Nano because I like the size but I didn’t like the size of the memory. 8 gigs just didn’t quite seem enough and I figured for another 50 bucks why not get the iPod Classic 80 gb.

The animated death metal band Dethklok from the Cartoon networks adult swim’s Metalocalypse are tearin up the billboards at # 21 with the release of The Dethalbum! The animated, hell-raising headbangers are bigger than any other animated band in history. Selling over 35,000 copies in the first week of sales can surely get them some cartoon poon! Maybe Jose and the Pussycats will stop backstage sometime for them, thats if they know how to get past the roadies…who knows.
