Today there are some pretty good releases. I ran to the mall this morning to pick up the new Trivium and Amon Amarth. Sampled a little bit of each one and so far no complaints.

Contamination Tour Dates

Origin, Misery Index and Abysmal Dawn are heading out on Relapse Records Contamination Tour starting next month. Reports Alternative press:
Veteran tech-death metal axewielders Origin are supporting their recent full-length, Antithesis; Misery Index recently wrapped up work with Kurt Ballou on their new album, Traitors, and will be releasing it September 30, following up 2006’s Discordia, though a digital compilation EP, Dead Sam Walking, will hit “stores” June 10; and Abysmal Dawn recently released their label debut, Programmed To Consume.
