If you registered for this Mission Metallica website you probably got the same e-mail I got yesterday. It was basically an e-mail saying that Mission Metallica is now live and running and that if you can’t get enough then you can get the “platinum package”.

Metallica’s Mission Metallica Beta website went live today for a few minutes and then went down from what I read. I think the official launch date is May 12th. Here is the teaser and traler from the site anyway. Enjoy?

In an effort to keep people interested in the new material being released sometime thie year, MissionMetallica.com launches in may. MissionMetallica.com is suppsoed to let you “experience” the new Metallica CD before it’s finished.
Here’s an idea. Do what every other succesful band is doing that works. Stream it on Myspace about a month before it’s released. So many bands are doing this and getting rave reviews and great releases. Of course I’m sure yuo can just download it for free when it comes out. After all…That’s what Lars wants you to do!
