Twisted Sister’s entire Stay Hungry album is proof that they are not one-hit-wonders. Where do they get off on say that they are OHW’s? T.S. didn’t have a really long run as a band, but they are well known, especially by their fans for having way more than one hit. Let’s just take a quick look at probably their biggest hit from radio and t.v.. We’re Not Gonna Take It and I Wanna Rock. That’s two by my count. Add another arm load of hits and you have enough of a legacy to be more than one hit wonders.

I can’t say that I was a diehard RATT fan, but they had plenty enough to not be known as one-hit-wonders.  This show is being produced by No Good TV…I think they are just trying to live up their name.

Riding high on a wave of critical acclaim for their new record, The Formation of Damnation, thrash titans Testament are MTV’s 52/52 Artist Of The Week! For the uninitiated, 52/52 is a way for MTV to shower love on its favorite bands, giving one artist each week over 11 hours of on-air promo time filled with live performances, interviews, skits, and more. For Testament’s appearance, MTV filmed the band’s BB King’s gig in NYC in April, as well as a special performance on Alcatraz in the band’s hometown of San Francisco. Mushroomhead recently won the MTV Headbanger’s Ball “2007 Video Of The Year” for the song “1200.” MTV2’s End Of Year show was voted on by over 120,000 viewers. The video was directed by horror special effects guru, House.

Mushroomhead hit the road in April of 2008 for a full USA tour supporting their album Savior Sorrow.  A new video directed by Mushroomhead for “Tattoo” was also recently released. It features hundreds of still photographs meticulously strung together creating a haunting editing technique.

Mushroomhead combine theatrics with a mixture of rock, metal and atmospheric elements.

Anyway getting on to the line-up for tonights show. Tonights show will be all about Nikki Sixx. I don’t know what the hell is going on lately but Sixx is getting a lot of media, for what reason I just don’t know. So expect to see some Motley Crue videos along with some Brides of Destruction stuff (what-ever). I’m going to try to watch it and see how long it takes for me to change the channel to something more interesting like a good episode of Antique Roadshow (sarcasm).

On another note, The Decline of western Civilization 2: the Metal Years aired the other day on Sundance and I was just wondering if Odin ever did get signed and if so, who was the deaf sum’bitch that was stupid enough to sign a band with a shitty singer that wears ass-less pants. The best part of this movie was the end. What better way to end this movie then with classic Megadeth!
