I’m not embedding all the videos this week. I have a nasty head cold and it’s killing me, but I felt that I should at least post one more thing today, so here is the list of tonight’s Headbanger’s Ball videos. This is complete B.S. if you ask me. It’s starting to become TRL (which I’m told is being canceled. Hold the applause) in the way that it’s mostly the same videos as last week. They seriously need to show a much better variety every week. People are getting sick of watching the same damn show every week.

Headbangersblog.com announced earlier that this is the first time that they have had a draw with their voting system for the return video. The draw was between The Sword’s Firelances video and Underoath’s Desperate Times video. Not a bad looking line up, with the exception of Static X.

Headbanger’s Ball Playlist For 7/19

Not much going on tonight’s HBB in my opinion. You got the Arsis video, the HBB debut of Shadows Fall’s Forevermore, other than that I’m not really impressed with the list…and AC/DC Thunderstruck? Yeah, it’s one of their heaviest tunes I guess. If you miss it I will try my Damndest to get all the videos up here tomorrow and like before you can choose the ones you want to see with no commercials. Maybe I’ll start my own Saturday evening video block of shit I choose. That’s not a bad idea~

Miss Headbanger’s Ball on Mtv 2 on Saturday? You can watch all the videos here. Some people don’t feel like staying up that late on a Saturday night or sitting through all the commercials or the videos. So I’ve compiled all the videos here. That way you can choose the ones you want to see and no commercials. What I hate about Headbanger’s Ball these days is that there is no commentary and rarely interviews and such like there used to be. It used to actually make for interesting viewing when there was someone to commentate about the videos and had guests on the show. Tonight On Headbanger’s Ball (7/12)

So what did everyone think of the new, 1 hour Headbanger’s Ball last week? I only caught the first few video before falling asleep. Getting old sucks. This week’s HBB has a bit of a mix that I’m not sure some are going to like. For instance, if you didn’t like The Dillinger Escape Plan video last week…you won’t like it this week. However the new Soulfly song Unleash kicks ass and I hope the video does as well. White Chapel will kick things off with their Headbanger’s Ball debut of Exile. Check out the list below for the full line-up.

Ready For New Headbangers Ball Hours? (Headbangers Ball Play List)

As you may have heard last week, HeadBangers Ball is being cut down to one hour. As if we were not getting starved for metal videos with two hours due to a crapload of commercials, now they are reducing it to 1 hour. I remember someone on Roadrunnerrecords.com saying “How are they going to squeeze all the videos in one hour with all the commercials” or something like that. Well the answer can be quite obvious from the list below. They drastically shortened it. Nice right? Well what the hell can we do? Suck it up and just watch nit anyway I suppose. Headbanger’s Ball For 8/18

Lets get this out of the way…Mtv2.com sucks. You have to go through 4 ads for the Andy Milonakis show just to get to the Headbangers Ball section. Andy Milonakis is proof that you don’t have to be funny to have your own show and you don’t have to be talented to be a star on MTV.

Anyway getting on to the line-up for tonights show. Tonights show will be all about Nikki Sixx. I don’t know what the hell is going on lately but Sixx is getting a lot of media, for what reason I just don’t know. So expect to see some Motley Crue videos along with some Brides of Destruction stuff (what-ever). I’m going to try to watch it and see how long it takes for me to change the channel to something more interesting like a good episode of Antique Roadshow (sarcasm).

On another note, The Decline of western Civilization 2: the Metal Years aired the other day on Sundance and I was just wondering if Odin ever did get signed and if so, who was the deaf sum’bitch that was stupid enough to sign a band with a shitty singer that wears ass-less pants. The best part of this movie was the end. What better way to end this movie then with classic Megadeth!
