Oakland deathcore demigods All Shall Perish are set to release the highly-anticipated follow up to 2006’s metal milestone The Price of Existence on September 16th via Nuclear Blast Records. Entitled Awaken the Dreamers, the band’s third proper full-length further blurs the boundaries between technical grind, relentless death, and balls-to-the-wall metalcore. The furious twelve-track collection was once again recorded at Oakland’s Castle Ultimate with Zack Ohren (Decrepit Birth, Light This City). Drummer Matt Kuykendall is mighty proud of the result:

Yeah, I said it…but I was just screwing around. I got this tonight and I’m pissed at myself for going this long without it! This album kicks ass from her to Kingdom Come. I was a bit reluctant to get this because I have only heard a couple of songs and I wasn’t quite sure what I would think. This album is amazing……..that is all~

I got a Nuclear Blast Magazine in the mail today. It’s got a load of articles and information on Nuclear Blast bands, merchandise, CDs, DVDs, tour dates, you name it. This magazine has everything Nuclear Blast in it…and it’s all in German.
While I appreciate Nuclear Blast sending me the magazine from overseas, it just had me laughin’ my ass off when I started to flip through and realized that I couldn’t read any of it.
Thanks Nuclear Blast, I love the label and the bands, but damn! Could you send me one in English next time, please?

ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, the Swedish band featuring  former THE CROWN vocalist Johan Lindstrand, has set Grim Tales as the title of its third album, due October/November via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD will be recorded beginning on June 1 at the Black Lounge Studios in Avesta, Sweden with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY).
