As I stated in my last interview with Trivium, the tour manager had some issues with her laptop so there was a lot of waiting around for her to try to get my interviews. We (my friend Martin and I) got to the the venue (The National) in Richmond Virginia about an hour before my first interview of the event with Corey Beaulieu of Trivium. Nothing kills time like watching Robot Chicken on an iPod, so the time went by pretty quick. I made my phone call to the tour manager to let her know I was there, but she didn’t answer. Things didn’t go quite as planned last Saturday at the All That Remains and Trivium show. The tour manager had some issues with her Mac-book that had to be resolved and it through off my interviews. I didn’t get to interview Phil Labonte as planned but I did get to speak to Mike Martin and Oli Herbert, which was cool too. I did shoot about 200 pictures of the band during the first 3 songs.
