Megadeth Peace Sells Live From HDNet
November 5, 2008 by Scott
Perhaps I’m a bit incompetent but I’m pretty good about finding channels on my Directv, but I couldn’t seem to find HDNet so I figured I didn’t have it and I probably don’t. Regardless I missed this anyway but there is a lot of good stuff that plays on HDNet so I might have to check again. Anyway they aired Megadeth Blood In The Water: Live From San Diego on November 2nd from footage thnat was shot earlier this year on Gigantour. Below is some great footage of the band plating Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying.

Megadeth’s Rust In Peace | Remixed/Remastered
July 11, 2008 by Scott
Whenever I get a new remastered version of a cd that was good in the first place I always want to make sure I got my moneys worth. Not that I could take it back to the place I got it but because I figure if you’re going to remaster/remix something that was good in the first place then the differences had still better be noticeable. Yesterday I got the remixed/remastered version of Megadeth’s Rust In Peace. On their remastered Peace Sells… I could tell a huge difference but that was something recorded in the mid eighties and it’s expected …read more
VH1 Classic Metal Mania…WTF?
February 3, 2008 by Scott
So either Direct TV or VH1 has something screwed up. I went to turn to VH1 classic yesterday because my Direct TV guide said Metal Mania was on. Metal Mania normally isn’t all that great anyway but when I tuned to the channel a Boyz II Men video was playing. I was rather shaken. I thought “Is the direction VH1 has taken Metal Mania?”. I tried to turn again a little later in hopes that it would actually be on but Michael Jackson was on grabbing his crotch, singing “Beat It”. That made me rather uncomfortable.
On another note, my son …read more
Just When You Thought Dave Mustaine Was All Grown Up
January 16, 2008 by Scott
Dave Mustaine has been rather tame for awhile now and you all know as well as I do that no matter how much you love Megadeth and Dave, he never fails to say something so off the wall that it makes you wonder why you like him. Dave speaks his mind. Even when his mind is a bit twisted and all tangled up with his ego. In case you missed it, Blabbermouth.net posted part of a recent interview from Revolver Magazine. Here is a few questions and answers.

Megadeth Remasterpieces
December 27, 2007 by Scott
I’m sitting here going back and forth through my Megadeth MP3s from the Warchest songs to the original from the cds. I know a lot of people are skeptical when it comes to re-releases and remasters cds but if your Megadeth cd’s are old and/or scratched and your looking for an excuse to replace them then you should look no further.
“This IS The News”, Peace Sells…Are You Buying?
October 15, 2007 by Scott
It doesn’t get much better than this. Peace Sells…but Who’s Buying? I used to hate how MTV news used to use the intro bass line for their crappy new segments every ten minutes with Kurt Choder. By the way, the Warchest is out and if you haven’t seen it, it’s a lot smaller than it looks in pictures, but still looks cool. I’m just not sure I want to pay for a bunch of live songs and a bunch of songs I already have. Anyway, this classic needs no more introduction.
