Yeah, I’ve been drinking a bit tonight. But not that much, I just thought this album sounded funny that way. Seriously, there is nothing funny about Bloodbath’s latest release The Fathomless Mastery. Aside from Opeth, Mikael Akerfeldt does a sick job in Bloodbath. I think he goes more balls out with the death metal vocals in Bloodbath because he doesn’t have to save his voice for the slower parts like in Opeth. Regardless Bloodbath are an amazing collaboration.

Always leaders of the black metal genre, Darkthrone return with more essential hellish rock & metal with a few surprises along the way. Recorded once again at their own Necrohell 2 studios, this latest slab of titanic riffing is sure to satisfy metalheads worldwide. Posers & fans of plastic sound stay away!
