Win Reckless Road Guns N’ Roses Book From The Rock Dose
I’ve got a cool Guns N’ Roses book to give away over at The Rock Dose. I was sent this book (Reckless Road: Guns N’ Roses and The Making Of Appetite For Destruction) earlier this year to review. I like the Guns N’ Roses of yester-decade and I really like this book but I made a promise at The Rock Dose awhile back that if Chinese Democracy was released this year that I would give it away. Unlike Dr. Pepper, I didn’t do this as a promotional stunt and I plan on making good on my promise. Unfortunately I only have one copy to give away so head on over to The Rock Dose and find out how you can win it.

End Of March Metal Meltdown
March 31, 2008 by Scott
The month of March was quite interesting. A lot of great things happened for me and a few great CD’s came out this month. I gave away some cool prizes and the first batch of the MetalMartyr.Com Compilations went out as well. Below is a list of links to some of this months posts that I think are worth a re-run.
The RIAA is still relentless about screwing artist out of money they get from settlements from illegal, Read about it here
I gave a list of My top 10 songs and cds this year. Some are new and some are old favorites. Check them out. Metal Martyr Top 10
I had a chance to check out a great show the beginning of the month and I got video Interviews with All That Remains Phil Labonte (Part 1 and Part 2), Light This City’s Laura Nichol and Ben Murray, and Black Tide.
Reckless Road Guns N’ Roses And The Making Of A Great Book!
March 12, 2008 by Scott
When I was offered the opportunity to review Marc Canter’s Reckless Road Guns N’ Roses And The Making Of Appetite For Destruction I jumped on it. Let me tell you first off that it’s not a biography of the band but a trip into yesterday with Marc Canter and the members of one of the greatest Hard Rock bands in the last 20 years.
Loaded with vintage pictures of the band and the bands they were in before Guns N’ Roses was formed this book takes you on a trip through history. The history of the entire band. From Axl hitch hiking from Indiana to LA to form form several bands to finally end up with the behemoth that was Guns N’ Roses.
