Rob Halford of some band that no one has ever heard of…wants to see a full blown theatrical production of Nostradamus. You know I think that would be something to see. Although I haven’t been to a theater show since high school when it was a mandatory thing, I have always liked a good stage performance. I gotta tell you, this has been a long week. Waiting for the week and my employment with a company that I have been with for almost three years come to an end, has been kind of nerve racking. So I picked up the new Judas Priest, Nostradamus, on the way home from work today. Right about now I’m not quite sure what to think of it. Everything I have heard this far is kind of mellow and it sounds as if Rob Halford has lost some range in his voice since Angel Of Retribution. I’ll do a full blown review of it in a couple of days. Old School Review: Judas Priest Metal Works 73-93   
Judas Priest Metal Works 73-93 as they state in the sleeve is not a best of, not a greatest hits record, just great Priest songs from 1973 to 1993. There are other compilations for Judas Priest out there like “The Essential Judas Priest” that have great songs on them too but if you really want the “Essential” Judas Priest, this is it.

Say what you want about Rob Halford’s sexuality…who cares. Halford is one of the greatest singers in metal history and still to this day can rip the vocals on his songs of old and new. Who else can still do that? NO ONE. Not Plant, Not Ozzy, Not Bach, Nobody! Breaking the law has been an anthem for heavy metal since the first day it hit the radio waves 27 years ago. Enjoy!
