Rob Zombie Halloween Concert Footage

Below is some footage shot by Christy Borgman of LA Woman Photography at the Palladium in Hollywood, CA on Halloween night. Rob Zombie kicked off his new tour on October 29th in support of the upcoming Hellbilly Deluxe 2 album that will be released on November 17th.
Zombie had the following to say,
“We have a lot of new things this time, you know, we didn’t want to go out and just do the same old show, so we’ve dug deep and we’ve kind of tried to mix it up. You know, there’s always the obvious songs that you have to play …read more

Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Talks Horror, Trinity of Terrors

In what is set to be the biggest, baddest and most gruesome convention to hit Las Vegas, Fangoria’s Trinity Of Terrors continues to add to the list of scream-worthy celebrities set to attend the three day event. The multi-media horror event which will take place Halloween weekend had previously announced guest appearances from the likes of John Waters (PINK FLAMINGOS, SEED OF CHUCKY) and Malcolm McDowell (A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, ROB ZOMBIE’S HALLOWEEN) and now the newly announced addition of Bruce Campbell (EVIL DEAD, ARMY OF DARKNESS). Also on the list of terrifying events will be the screening of over …read more

Powerman 5000 to Release New Album on October 6

Powerman 5000 have announced that they will be releasing their newest album Somewhere on the Other Side of Nowhere on October 6.
Powerman 5000 was formed in Boston in 1991 by frontman Spider One (who is also Rob Zombie’s younger brother). Their last release was 2006’s Destroy What You Enjoy. In 2007, a post was made on their MySpace blog stating, “Considering the bands track record of putting out cds once every three years it seems hard to believe that, yes we will put out a new disc in 2007!! It’s all just beginning to develop and the wheres, whos and whats …read more

Rob Zombie Discusses ‘Halloween II’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Rob Zombie was interviewed on Tuesday, August 25th by Jimmy Kimmel. During the interview, Zombie discusses some of the differences in his version of the movie as opposed to the original, and lets slip that we will finally see Michael Myers’ face. Which, based on his description, will look a lot like Rob Zombie.
Check out the video below, and you can find out about the kick ass H2 soundtrack over at Screamstress.com.

Rob Zombie Talks About Halloween 2

Rob Zombie Talks About Halloween 2

Rob Zombie recently conducted a phone interview with GordonAndTheWhale.com, which I found via Blabbermouth. His first Zombification of John Capenter’s classic Halloween was a surprising (to me, anyway) hit, and has inevitably spawned the release of Halloween 2, which picks up where the first left off. Laurie Strode (played by the terrific Scout Taylor-Compton) is still being pursued by her uberpsycho brother Michael Myers (played by the terrifying Tyler Mane). Chaos and brutality will ensue and, being orchestrated by Rob Zombie, it will be gruesomely freakin’ awesome.
Halloween 2 opens on August 28th nationwide. Check out the new “leaked” trailer below, …read more

H2…Oh No: The Halloween (Remake) Sequel Directed By Rob Zombie Again

By Now you might have heard that Rob Zombie will be directing the sequel to the remake of the classic 1978 horror movie Halloween. I thought the remake was…ok. Nothing ground-breaking in the sense of remakes, but just ok. I liked the fact that he wanted to explain the origins of Michael Myers, but he went astray with a few things like where Michael acquired the mask and such.
Every film maker and director is going to get some kind of criticism when they try to remake a classic film such as Halloween or Night Of The Living Dead (Which …read more

Punisher Warzone Soundtrack Review

Punisher Warzone Soundtrack Review

Over the years we’ve seen many great movie soundtracks with some notable metal bands in the mix. Some of them were all metal and some, mostly metal. What I hate the most is when I get a soundtrack that has songs from a favorite band that is on their latest album and chances are that I already have it. This is kind of the case with the Punisher Warzone.
The first track on it is an original from Rob Zombie. Titled after the movie, Warzone is the electric, techno-metal that you can expect from Rob and it doesn’t sound like …read more

Rob Zombie "Warzone" Single From Punisher Warzone Movie Soundtrack

Rob Zombie "Warzone" Single From Punisher Warzone Movie Soundtrack

Check out the first single from the Punisher: Warzone sound track in the link at the bottom. I gotta say that it sounds pretty cool…right up to the point where Rob Zombie starts singing and then it goes to crap. At like 49 seconds or so in to the song it goes from ‘kind of cool’ to ‘really bad’. It was like they asked “Hey Rob, want to do a song for the new Punisher Sound-track?”, and he was like “Sure, give me 15 minutes to whip something up.“.
