I just bought my son and Xbox 360 and Guitar Hero World Tour the other day for Christmas. It sits hidden in the closet while I try to restrain myself from pulling it out, putting it together and giving it a try while he’s at school. The best thing about the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games besides the fact that they are a blast to play  is that they get kids interested in music and bands of the past and present. Sometimes it even gets them interested in learning a real instrument.

Megadeth’s Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? will be available for full album download for Rock Band 2 as well as the title track already being on the disk. I don’t own Rock Band and I rarely play Guitar Hero anymore, but I think this is pretty cool. I would love to play Black Friday, Devils Island, Wake Up Dead, and the obvious Peace Sells…

The Music Industry (Warner Music Group in particular)wants yet more money from music based video games such as Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I can understand if they were looking out for the bands, but in all honesty we know that they are just trying to line their pockets.

I’m going to kinda keep this short because honestly I didn’t get to play the game all that long. I went to my brothers place for New Years and my nephews got Rock Band for PS2 for Christmas so I had to give it a shot. I love it!

Well it looks as if Metallica may premiere one of their new songs on an updated version of Harmoix Rock Band. Here’s what Ultimate-Guitar.com reported.
“Metallica are in talks to premiere the first single from their next studio album on a new version of the Rock Band video game.

This whole Rock Band concept seems pretty cool. Idon;t see myself getting it anytime soon because I don’t see an Xbox 360 in my near future and this package is expensive. Not to mention I don’t see myself playing it with my son like we play guitar hero. I hope this is a good game and is not too complicated per say. Anyway, here is the playlist for the upcoming game.
