It’s been rumored for a couple of weeks now, but according to Revolver Magazine, Killswitch Engage will be the fourth band to play the main stage in this year Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Killswitch are currently in the studio working on their next album, due out later this year. So here is the line-up as of now.

After Walls Of Jericho played I was ready to find a place to sit, and where better than the main Amphitheater to watch Mastodon’s set. 5 Finger Death Punch was playing on the Hot Topic Stage so it was either Mastodon or 5 Finger Death Punch. Seriously…there wasn’t any debate about who I was going to see. I’m not going to get into too much details, but it was amazing.

If you have been around long enough at Metal Martyr you’ll know that I’m a fan of Slipknot. Say what you will about the band. I don’t care, I’ve heard it all by now. But what is going on with this stupid flash crap they have going on at http://www.slipknot1.com/?
I don’t know what to think of this. It’s weird and if that is what we have to look forward to as far as the new masks go then all I have to say is: WTF?
