Taiwanese metallers CHTHONIC just kicked off their United States tour in support of their new album Mirror of Retribution.  The tour features Satyricon, Bleeding Through and Toxic Holocaust and runs through October 27th in Montreal, Quebec.

Some days the metal news flows while other days it’s a slow crawl. Yesterday was one of those slow crawl days. Overnight things can change and looking through my RSS this morning there is some news of significance to include band members quitting and being replaced like it’s the cool thing to do.

“The album is scheduled for September next year. That’s what we’re aiming for. We’re going to put out, well, I don’t know if it’s going to be a DVD or an EP with multimedia content, but we’re gonna release this thing in Spring next year and it’s gonna have a song from the album and video material and some live footage, recordings from the Now Diabolical touring cycle.
