End Of March Metal Meltdown
March 31, 2008 by Scott
The month of March was quite interesting. A lot of great things happened for me and a few great CD’s came out this month. I gave away some cool prizes and the first batch of the MetalMartyr.Com Compilations went out as well. Below is a list of links to some of this months posts that I think are worth a re-run.
The RIAA is still relentless about screwing artist out of money they get from settlements from illegal, Read about it here

March 27, 2008 by Scott
In a recent interview with by Vassil Varbanov of Bulgaria’s Tangra Mega Rock Max Cavalera was asked if there is any possibilities of a Sepultura reunion. Here is what Max said. Read the entire interview at the link at the bottom.
Tangra Mega Rock: In this connection, I’m sure a big part of the world is thinking of a SEPULTURA reunion with you and Igor. Would this be possible?
Max: It’s possible, but I don’t know neither when nor how. A couple of years ago, if somebody told me I’d be talking with Igor again, I wouldn’t have believed him, and you …read more

Forgotten Shredders | Andreas Kisser
March 19, 2008 by Scott
Or perhaps a forgotten shredder. I was on my way home after helping my brother move some stuff and I was listening to Dead Embryonic Cells. A Sepultura classic from the Arise album. Singing along in my best Max, I almost forgot for awhile how much I used to love the way Andreas Kisser played. Even though most of the rhythms are fairly easy, his solos always ripped!
Cavalera Conspiracy: Inflikted Out 3/25
March 16, 2008 by Scott
The Cavalera Conspiracy’s Inflikted out March 25th on RoadRunner Records. You know I haven’t spent much time talking about the Cavalera Conspiracy and when I have I’ve either been telling Max to wash his hair or get a Sepultura reunion going. If you have not heard anything off of Inflikted you can download Sanctuary and/or watch the video below. So far I’m actually impressed. It’s not Soulfly and it’s not Sepultura, but it seems pretty cool and Marc Rizzo is an amazing guitar player.
Sepultura Reunion Hopes Looking Up?
February 26, 2008 by Scott
If you’re a Sepultura fan you’d be lying if you said that you don’t want to see a reunion anytime soon. The “Classic” line-up of Max, Igor, Andreas, and Paulo was the best to date and we all know it. While Derek Green stepped in on vocals and did a rather good job considering who’s shoes he had to fill, it was never quite the same Sepultura, as Iron Maiden was not the same without Bruce.

Sepultura Reunion A Possibility!?!
August 24, 2007 by Scott
In a recent interview Max Cavelera mentioned that a Sepultura reunion is not impossible. Honestly, that would be one of the coolest things to happen in metal in a long time. Think about it. The members of Judas Priest swallowed their pride, buried the hatchet and made a pretty damn good record when they reunited with Rob Halford. Angel Of Retribution was and is a great ‘Priest recording. The band sounds modernized without breaking away from the classic priest roots and Halford’s voice could not be better. Priest put on a hell of a show! Yeah Rob Halford is gay, …read more
