Ace Frehley, Corey Taylor Joining Fifth Annual Ride for Dime

Ride for Dime is an annual charity ride and concert held in remembrance for the victims of the 2004 shooting at Alrosa Villa in Columbus, OH, where “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, Erin Halk, Nathan Bray and Jeff “Mayhem” Thompson were killed.
The ride starts this year at 2:30pm at the Longhorn Harley-Davidson/Buell located at 2830 W. Interstate 20, Grand Prairie, TX. This ride will be 38 miles long, with a special trip past Dimebag’s house and studio, and end up at The Palladium Ballroom, located at 1135 S. Lamar in Dallas, TX.

Not Quite Myself Lately

Since I started writing for The Rock Dose, I found myself exploring more modern rock bands and actually enjoying a lot of it. That doesn’t mean I’m abandoning metal, in fact it doesn’t even mean I’m listening to less metal. It just means I’ve been listening to shit I normally wouldn’t. For instance, I bought the new Shinedown the other day titled Sound Of Madness and it’s actually a pretty good rock cd.
