Florida based death metal band Six Feet Under, fronted by former Cannibal Corpse singer Chris Barnes is set to release Death Rituals next week on November 11th. Death Rituals is their 8th full length studio album. You can hear their latest song “Involuntary Movement of Dead Flesh” on their Myspace. Other songs that they have posted from Death Rituals are Shot In The Head and Seed Of Filth.
I’ve grown out of this band over the years. Perhaps it’s my desire for more clarity in vocals or maybe I just haven’t heard enough of their newer albums.

IGN.Com, a video game site recently published a post on the 10 Best Death Metal Singers and I must say that it is a hell of a list. I couldn’t agree more with it. Take a peak at the list below, but visit the site to get their insight on them, essential albums and a song/video from the band. Chris Barnes Talks About Cannibal Corpse Centuries Of Torment DVD

Chris Barnes, former Cannibal Corpse front-man recently talked to Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles Magazine (July Issue) about Cannibal Corpse’ Centuries Of Torment DVD. It was really cool because there wasn’t any trash talk about the current Cannibal Corpse and he said “I was really happy with the way they put it together”.
