Florida based death metal band Six Feet Under, fronted by former Cannibal Corpse singer Chris Barnes is set to release Death Rituals next week on November 11th. Death Rituals is their 8th full length studio album. You can hear their latest song “Involuntary Movement of Dead Flesh” on their Myspace. Other songs that they have posted from Death Rituals are Shot In The Head and Seed Of Filth.
I’ve grown out of this band over the years. Perhaps it’s my desire for more clarity in vocals or maybe I just haven’t heard enough of their newer albums.

Chris Barnes, former Cannibal Corpse front-man recently talked to Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles Magazine (July Issue) about Cannibal Corpse’ Centuries Of Torment DVD. It was really cool because there wasn’t any trash talk about the current Cannibal Corpse and he said “I was really happy with the way they put it together”. Six Feet Under, was formed as a side project with former Cannibal Corpse singer Chris Barnes and Allen West of Obituary. After being asked to leave Cannibal Corpse by the other band mates due to contributing too much time to SFU, Chris agreed and Six Feet Under became permanent party.
