Dry raped you say? Yeah, it’s just like dry humping, only it’s not consensual and it was from a dude behind me. I don’t really think he meant to, but he was excited to see Hatebreed and was pushed up against me and jumping up and down a lot so it really felt like I was being dry humped. It’s expected though when you’re at a crowded venue with a big band and your up against the barrier. It made me rather uncomfortable but it didn’t last long. He must have got off quick.

I was trying to go to the Lunatic Luau this coming Saturday, but I decided with this hurricane moving up the coast that it wasn’t a good idea. Well word is spreading that it was canceled and I just checked the Livenation site to confirm and unfortunately for a lot of people it has been canceled. Beginning September 2nd after finishing their tour with Oh, Sleeper, War of Ages will begin a two-week series of dates with Hatebreed concentrated largely in the northeast.
War of Ages released their new album Arise and Conquer on July 22nd and will be touring in support of it.

The June issue of Revolver featuring The Hottest Chicks In Metal Part 3 is on news stands now. I’ve had some issues with Revolver for the last year or so due to the fact that sometimes they just blow my mind when they feature some not at all metal bands on the cover or as the main story of the issue. With that said, I can honestly say that the last three issues have been pretty good.

San Francisco’s LIGHT THIS CITY has posted the band’s third in-studio video update exclusively at Revolver magazine’s website (http://www.revolvermag.com/). Focusing on vocal tracking, the footage features commentary from the band, snippets of music, and a brief look at Testament mainman Chuck Billy’s vocal contributions to LIGHT THIS CITY’s forthcoming record, the band’s fourth.
