Static-X will be traveling Australia in November in support of their hit album Cult of Static. Cult of Static was released on March 17, 2009 and debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Top 200, making it Static-X’s highest charting album since 2001’s Machine.

The Flood recently wrapped up their 2009 SnoCore tour dates with Static-X and is currently working on their debut album with multi-Platinum, Grammy award winning producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Smashing Pumpkins).

Often compared to Tool, Deftones and Korn, The Flood hail from Seattle, Washington, and are preparing to finish up their debut full length album. What I hate the most is when I get a soundtrack that has songs from a favorite band that is on their latest album and chances are that I already have it.
