I saw the advertisement for this the other day and it pissed me off. You know the “One Hit Wonder” shows that air on VH1 every now and then? Well there is another one coming soon to VH1 Classic and two of the bands they are going to cover are Twisted Sister and RATT. Last time I checked neither of these bands were one hit wonders. Not to me anyway. Maybe they were one hit wonders in the corporate world of Mtv, but both of these bands had plenty of good songs.

I once again turned on VH1 Classics last night and for the 6 millionth time, Heavy: the story of metal was on. I only watched a bit of it but it was enough to get me riled. Warrant, a band that I never liked was featured on there. Jani Lane, the only washed out glam rocker that is trying to look normal these days (or at least at the time) was bitchin about how when he wrote Cherry Pie, he didn’t expect it to be a hit.
