Last week I kind of slacked due to the fact that I was on vacation with my family and it really wasn’t on my mind. Here is this weeks HBB play list. Not the greatest list. The Hatebreed video will be on the upcoming live DVD, The gates Of Slumber video is kind of a cool, sledge, doom song (Kind of reminds me of Devon Townsend) and the Dragonforce song is from their upcoming Ultra-beat off cd. Straight Line Stitch’s new video for Black Veil is a lot better video and song than the first one that I saw, which was Remission. I saw this on Headbanger’s Ball last night and when it started I though “oh Christ, another crappy song/video from this band.” After the last video that ran on the Headbanger’s Ball “Remission” and I didn’t like it. The vocals just didn’t mix well with the screams going to cleans. It was just weird.
Black Veil is much better than Remission but I’m still can’t bring myself to be interested in this band…just don’t know why. …read more
