After wrapping up their 2009 SnoCore tour with Static-X, The Flood is going back to the studio. Often compared to Tool, Deftones and Korn, The Flood hail from Seattle, Washington, and are preparing to finish up their debut full length album. Slow weekend for news so what better band to talk about than Slayer!
Not to far back, maybe a month or so I bought new/used versions of God Hates Us All and Diabolus In Musica. These two albums I did not have good physical copies of. God Hates Us All was copied from a friend and Diabolus In Musica somehow got a huge crack in it years ago. Black Tide To Perform At SXSW Bash

Black Tide have just announced that they will be performing at Hot Topic’s annual South by Southwest bash on March 14th at La Zona Rosa in Austin. The SXSW party will also feature live sets from UK sensations Enter Shikari and Texas natives Flyleaf. Headlining the event will be System of a Down frontman, Serj Tankian!
Black Tide are gearing up for the release of Light From Above, their Johnny K (Machine Head) produced debut album which comes out on March 18th.

Friday I was at F.Y.E., you know, the place that generally sell CD’s and DVD’s for about 6 dollars more than anywhere else. Anyway, I found a Megadeth CD entitle “Extended Versions” with a lest of songs that vary from albums through their career. I thought that it was a CD with extended versions of these songs but I overlooked the words “Recorded Live”.
