South Carolina death metal act Through the Eyes of the Dead have announced the title of their forthcoming release on Prosthetic Records. The album, their third full length, will be titled Skepsis. The band has been recording at New York’s Gellar Cellar Studios. Alan Douches has been tapped to master the effort. The tracklisting is as follows:

Looking back at some of my reviews of 2008 I can’t help but express how much I hate doing reviews sometimes. Sometimes you get excited for a newly released cd and love it for the first couple listens. Some are great cds with good sound but then later on you read what others stated in their reviews and second guess your own opinion. The Acacia Strain has announced that a new song called Skynet will be posted on their Myspace page on Monday 6/30. Skynet will be featured on the upcoming album Continent that will be released on August 19th through Prosthetic Records.

The Acacia Strain is currently out on the Sun Your Bunz Tour but will be releasing their new album Continent on August 19th, which to me is just way too far away.
