The Acacia Strain has announced that a new song called Skynet will be posted on their Myspace page on Monday 6/30. Skynet will be featured on the upcoming album Continent that will be released on August 19th through Prosthetic Records.

The Acacia Strain is currently out on the Sun Your Bunz Tour but will be releasing their new album Continent on August 19th, which to me is just way too far away. I spoke to the Prosthetic Records PR through E-mail about The Dead Walk and he told me “If you like The Dead Walk, you should love Continent!” Check out the Studio video blog.

Metalcore never seems to disappoint me lately, especially coming out of the New England area. Call it down tuned nu-metal, whatever. I’ve been wanting to hear more of The Acacia Strain since sampling a little bit online awhile back but I couldn’t find the cd in stores and I’m one of those people that rarely orders cd’s online.
